While I’m a passionate photographer, I always enjoyed teaching and sharing my knowledge. Over the past years I’ve worked with dozens of photographers. I run my workshops the same way that I shoot personally. My goal is to guide you in creating original images while helping you to compose and imagine the final image before you hit the shutter. I also make sure that you won’t have to worry about the itinerary or safety.
These workshops are for anyone and everyone who wants to improve their photography skills. They are unique in the sense that I always stay with the group providing one-on-one instruction and critique. When I am shooting, it is with the aim of sharing ideas and thoughts as the light changes or the project evolves. You will learn about my entire process for creating powerful and dramatic images starting with where to shoot and why. We will dig into how to master composition, understand gear, light as well as image processing in Lightroom and Photoshop.
Take one of my workshops and you will come home not only with beautiful photos, but a deeper understanding for creating remarkable works of art. All the logistics will be handled, all you have to do is show up, shoot and have fun!
I had the chance to do a workshop with Phil in July 2020 and it was a great time! Everything went wonderfully: from the organization of the weekend, to the practical courses and workshops planned in our program. Phil was very available, he adapted to everyone's level and helped me progress a lot. He was able to give us a lot of advice and pass on his passion for photography, all in a relaxed and very friendly atmosphere. I will not hesitate to do more workshops with Phil as soon as I get the chance.
I participated in a landscape and Milky Way photography workshop in July 2020 in Zermatt, organized by Phil. This course was very well built: a theory part (with materials provided before the course), explanation and use of Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop softwares and a practical part, with very appreciable personalized support. Phil is a very good instructor, really passionate, it’s a real pleasure. It allowed me to discover my photography gear in a very simple way.
During the lessons, I experienced that Phil has immense skills as a teacher and a photographer. Very passionate about photography, he always finds time for explanations even outside of his Workshops. The photo courses were in a friendly atmosphere with clear and precise explanations, concrete examples as well as practical exercises in order to leave confident for my next photo adventures.
I sincerely recommend photography lessons with Phil Suarez for the technical quality, his patience, kindness and dynamism, his pedagogy adapted to each level. All of this makes photography even more exciting and endless. I will not fail to come back to him to improve myself. Thank you ! 😊☺️
